This class is Open format - all students who attend will work individually towards their own personal goals and projects at their own pace. It will be on-going and repeatable for personal advancement. Students can come once and make our Beginners Glass Project (top image) and pick it up within a week. If students wish to take further classes with us, all they have to do is arrange to come again during one of our regularly scheduled class slots.

This class will cover everything from absolute basics to intermediate and a few higher level techniques. Beginners will start by learning the basic properties of cutting, arranging, and firing the glass in the kiln. Our basic "Beginner's Package Project" involves making a square dish approximately 5"-6" that can be molded into a decoratively curved form for holding trinkets (or anything else you'd like).

 

Note: please allow for at least 24 hours before scheduling - please do not simply show up at a class without notice (via phone or email - and with reply confirmation from us). We cannot guarantee space or materials with short notice.

Classes will take place regularly every week. Any student can attend any class time with ample notice. If you want to come once, twice, or three times a week, that is an option.
